Dr. Moukharskaya was born in Minsk, Belarus. In 1998, she graduated from the Belarussian State Medical University. After graduation, she completed her residency, a PhD program, and worked as a hospitalist physician for several years. Following her move to the U.S. with her husband and daughter in 2008, Dr. Moukharskaya repeated Internal Medicine Residency training and completed a Hematology Oncology Fellowship at the University of Vermont.

After fellowship, Dr. Moukharskaya had the privilege to serve oncology patients in Maine, where she fell in love with the people and the nature. She left Maine for three years to work in Washington state, but in 2022 was excited to return to Maine to work at New England Cancer Specialists. Dr. Moukharskaya strives to provide individualized, compassionate, and quality care to every patient whose life is touched by the diagnosis of malignancy or a blood disorder.

Dr. Moukharskaya is board-certified in hematology and medical oncology, is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and American Society of Hematology, has been involved in clinical research, and has several publications. She has actively participated in medical student education at the University of New England and the University of Washington.  

In her spare time, Dr. Moukharskaya enjoys running, cross country skiing, and hiking, as well as reading a good book.

A native of Massachusetts, Danielle received her bachelor's in biology from the University of Delaware in Newark, DE. After working as a clinical research coordinator, she went on to receive her Master of Science, Physician Assistant degree from the University of New England in Westbrook. 
 
She started her career at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, in the department of Gynecologic Oncology and Reproductive Medicine, where she specialized in the medical management of gynecologic malignancy and pre-invasive cervical disease. Danielle and her husband moved back to New England in 2019 to be closer to family, and she joined New England Cancer Specialists. She focuses on the treatment of breast cancer patients, providing care and support from diagnosis through survivorship.
 
Danielle lives in Yarmouth with her husband. She is an avid sailor and also enjoys hiking, camping and skiing.
