Sarah is a native of Portland. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Boston College, and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Southern Maine. She has worked in oncology for more than 15 years. Sarah started her nursing career as a registered nurse on Gibson Pavilion at Maine Medical Center. After becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked at Central Maine Medical Center’s Oncology practice for five years before joining NECS in 2017.

Sarah is certified as an Adult Oncology Nurse Practitioner by the Oncology Nurses Credentialing Center (ONCC). She has experience working with a broad range of cancer diagnoses, but currently focuses on cancers of the brain, lung, and gastrointestinal tract. Her philosophy of care is centered around a belief in treating the patient, rather than a disease.

Sarah lives in Portland with her husband and two young children. She enjoys being active, running, swimming, biking, and spending time on the islands of Casco Bay.
